Sarkodie has been exposed by a Cameroonian rapper known as Memanz Memanz after he lied to him that he was the one who signed Medikal and Pappy Kojo on his Sarkcess Music to become a successful artist that they are today.
According to the Cameroonian rapper, he had a live video chat with Sarkodie and he encouraged him using himself as an example of an artist who rose from nothing to the best rapper in Africa.

Sarkodie explained to Memanz that, after creating his record label, he signed underground artists such as Strongman, Medikal, Pappy Kojo and others. He nurtured and train them to be successful.

Sarkodie also lauded the effort of Ghana Government in putting Ghana music on the Africa map by organizing periodic training for upcoming artists.
In as much as some of the statements made by Sarkodie in his chat with the Cameroonian rapper are true, some are false and he has been called out on social media.

Sarkodie didn’t sign and nurture Medikal and Pappy Kojo as he is taking credits for. It’s wrong for a man of status to be caught taking credit for something he contributed in no way to build.
