Tension is rising across the campus of Kwame Nkrumah University Of Science And Technology as students embark on a demonstration against how security forces have been brutalizing some students.
It’s reported that some Katanga Hall affiliates have been arrested and others injured over claims of making noise on campus. The SCR has in protest staged a demonstration at the back of these brutalities for students to boycott classes to register their protest.

In a new development, a tweet from Katanga Hall has indicated that the School’s authority have called on the police to deal with the chaos and they are firing gunshots for that course.
At the beginning of This Academic year, KNUST has taken a forceful decision to mix Katanga Hall, Unity Hall and Africa Hall which were previously single sex halls for boys and Africa Hall being for girls only – students have being doing everything possible to revert the decision whilst the authorities also keep introducing strict measures to prevent that.
