Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale have been beefing for so long it’s like there was never a time in Ghanaian music when they were not beefing.
And the animosity between them is quite intense, with the two unable to stand each other just as much as their fans.
However, this is showbiz and there are always questions about whether their beef is real or simply being staged for the hype.
There is no doubt that since these two started beefing the dancehall genre has become the biggest in Ghana, dominating headlines all over the place.

So obviously the beef is good for both artists and for the industry at large, which means even if it’s dying, they could decide to keep it ongoing just for hype.
However, Stonebwoy has come out to rubbish such claims. In an interview with Happy Fm, the dancehall star said he’s a very real person and there’s no way he can stage a beef simply for hype.
Stonebwoy said he has his differences with Wale which is what has sparked their ongoing beef.
“I have never staged a beef with any artist in the industry, be it Shatta or any other person in the industry. All the beefs between I and Shatta Wale were real. I don’t fake beef to create attention for myself,” Stonebwoy asserted.
