Not inconsistent with his choice of subject matter over the years, singer/ producer Article Wan ridicules detractors in his latest submission, Atanfo Besu.

The song, which translates as “enemies will cry” is set to dance-ready highlife rhythm, and the accompanying video clip (directed by Gordon Appiah for AGA Productions) is not short of happy boogie. As is the feature of modern Ghanaian highlife releases, he reuses lines by veteran Nana Acheampong to support recall.

Article Wan (born Bright Homenya) first tasted mainstream success with his widely successful dancehall offering,”Solo.” Since then, he has issued music across genres, especially highlife and Afropop. He’s currently franchise act of Mingle Link Entertainment / LinkUp Empire.

Article Wan, who has been associated with colleagues like Stonebwoy, Patapaa, Edem, Joey B, and Kofi Mole, is also author of the joints “Are You God,” “My Dela,” “Faya Burn Dem,” “That Thing” among others.
