Burgeoning Ghanaian act, M3dal, popular for a number of hiphop and Afro pop cuts including “Thank God,” “Odo Lastic” and “Kama Sutra” kick starts his 2019 via Mmaa, a SENYOCUE-produced record featuring colleagues Fameye and MTN hitmaker alumnus, Amakye.
Dance-ready yet soulish, Mmaa navigates the Solomon-esque conundrum the song’s persona is faced with. It is also an unusual celebration of the fairness of the Ghanaian woman.
It is unclear if the joint precedes a body of work, but M3dal–who has been a fixture on high-profile albums as EL’s BAR efforts–submits to ENEWS that he has sufficient material for a project.
