The issue of many Ghanaian celebrities being tagged as ‘scammers’ has over some time now been a topic of great interest.

Many young hard-working artists who tend to make a blow and start to live a lavish life is either attributed to ‘scam’ or other dubious means of earning income as in the case of  Kumasi-based rapper Y Pee.

The above-mentioned budding rapper who became the talk of Ghana following his song with Sarkodie has washed off his hands on anything scamming as Ghanaians have been made to believe.

According to Y Pee in an interview with Fante Quoo, he’s not perturbed by the notion that he’s the CEO of Kumasi Game Boys Association (K.G.B.A). He said, although he lives a lavish lifestyle especially in the are of the car he drives but his management bought it for him.

Remember Y Pee gave Sarkodie $7000 for the remix of “Mey3 Guy” featuring Medikal. When the news about the whopping amount went viral, rumours became rife that indeed,  Y Pee is into scamming. Thus, most Ghanaians on social media couldn’t rationalise how a rapper of Y Pee caliber could pay Sarkodie such amount in the name of collaboration.

But whatever be the case, the budding rapper has declared null and void of anything scamming as it has been erroneously communicated. He noted that he used to go to cafe but the reason for going there has nothing to do with cyber bullying or otherwise known as scamming.
