Ghanaian Highlife artiste Bisa K Dei has been missing from the music scene after giving us all the hit songs some years back. After his last album, “Highlife Konnect” was released somewhere last year, the man who has entertained Ghanaians with popular songs like ‘Mansa” and “Brother Brother” seems to be far away from music consumers and that seems to be a bother to many music fanatics. It explains their constant post on social media asking his whereabouts.
On Showbiz Agenda hosted by Sammy Flex on Zylofon 102.1 FM on Monday 13th May 2019, a discussion about what might be happening to him came up and different opinions were shared by the showbiz pundits. Some blamed his absence on management weakness whilst others said his publicity team is becoming weaker after all the success he chalked. There were some who also believed that he is not being proactive in terms of making his activities known to the public even when he is outside the country.
“The very last thing we have seen from Bisa Kdei was when he performed at the Manhyia Palace during the anniversary celebration by Asantehene Otumfuo and since then, nothing has been seen from him again. He is still not seen around the industry like before and this has affected his influence if you ask me. He is too young to bow out at this time in his career. I am wondering why he was not even nominated in this year`s VGMA but then again let`s blame him for his absence” a panel member added.
