The Ghana Police Service have revealed the provisional charges against Dancehall artists Charles Nii Armah Mensah , also known as Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy, born Livingstone Etse Satekla.
The duo have been arraigned before an Accra circuit court and will soon make an appearance. The 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Award was disrupted by violence which erupted between fans of Shatta Wale and the management team of Stonebwoy.
Shatta Wale, for reasons best known to him, stormed the stage moments after Stonebwoy was declared Dancehall Reggae Artist of the year.
Stonebwoy consequently pulled out a gun which caused fear and panic in the auditorium, causing several patrons including John Dumelo, Jackie Appiah and Sarkodie to flee for their dear lives.
