When musicians become irrelevant in the music industry, what is left of them is to start making nonsensical comments. Anything gibberish that comes in their minds becomes a strategy for them to keep themselves up – the case of a ‘dead’ singer, Nana Kontihene.
A hibernated hiplife rapper who vanished from the Ghanaian music industry years ago is trying everything possible to revive his dead career.
A few hours ago, he released a senseless video of himself and blasted Bhimnation followers on the Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale VGMA feud just to launch his comeback.
Again, Kontihene has been captured in a video saying Ghanaians are so dumb to the extent that they do not understand the meaning of creative arts so they see every musician as a beggar.
“…Back in our country, it’s very sad, they don’t understand the meaning of creativity, that is why when artistes are performing on stage, they keep throwing Ghc1 notes on the floor for them to pick. When a doctor is working you cannot throw money for him… but because of our bad mentality about music, we throw money because we see musicians as beggars instead of seeing them as people who are contributing something essential…” he said.
