Not for the first time in history, a cease fire has been brokered between the two warring dancehall stars, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
Not surprisingly, everyone is expressing skepticism that this deal could actually work out, considering the history between these two artists and especially, the incideniary nature of Shatta Wale.
Wale is the kind of guy who can just take to social media one day and write whatever comes to mind against Stonebwoy or indeed anyone he likes in this country. As Founding editor of GhanaCelebrities.Com, Chris-Vincent Agyapong said in his latest piece; when Wale smokes some weed and takes to social media, what stops him from breaking this cease-fire?
However, Nana Aba Anamoah, one of the architects of the deal, insists that it would work out this time. She insisted in a chat with Chris-Vincent and also did during an interview on Kasapa Fm today.
According to her, the reason she believes this peace would last is because it was instigated by the two artists themselves.
According to the GhOne TV News editor, both Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have told her they are willing to discuss peace so she just brought them together to do so.
Basically, no one forced or begged them to come to peace, it was their own decision.
“Shatta is my good friend and every time I speak to him, he tells me he’s willing to meet Stonebwoy for fruitful chats and same for Stonebwoy. So we just needed the right time and the right place for it to happen. And we’re happy eventually this happened. I give credit to Dr. Abban who offered us his home and hosted the two musicians”, she said on Anopa Kasapa this morning.
