Obrafuor has disclosed that he feels Charterhouse has destroyed the music industry and is refusing to take blame for it.
In a radio interview on Wednesday, Obrafuor expressed his anger at Charterhouse for being irresponsible and greedy. He celebrated the 20th anniversary of his Pae Mu Ka rap album. Click here to see all that went down.
Obrafuor on sharing his thought about the Stonebwoy-Shatta Wale brawl at the 2019 VGMAs stated that Charterhouse needs to take some part of the blame, the event organizers care about only their benefit but not that of musicians and other industry players, he added.
He said.
“…To be very honest with you Charterhouse would have helped the industry if they had good intentions for their awards scheme…[instead] they have done a lot of harm to musicians than good,”
“We shouldn’t mince words about this….Charterhouse’s entire mindset is centred around what profits they can make out of the awards scheme rather than the welfare of anyone else, including musicians.”
