This police commander decided to save himself from an angry family by hiding under a bench at the station.

In a new photo trending on social media, Chief Superintendent Donkor Baah is seen attempting to save his own life as he struggles to find safety under a common home bench.

The family of a suspect that died in the custody of the Police Commander angrily stormed the police station when they heard their relative had died in the Breman- Asikuma prison cells.

The angry family members had warned the police commander to resurrect their deceased within 24 hours else they’ll come for him.

The family is been aggressive about the situation because they feel the police officers at the station assaulted their relative.

“The police assaulted the deceased physically after arresting him and our checks reveal he was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital after he was rushed there. We are giving a 24-hour ultimatum to the police to have something meaningful to tell us, else we will burn down the police station,”

a family member who spoke on Accra-based Adom Fm threatened.

But the officers at the station are saying differently.

“The deceased complained of sickness while at the cells last night and was sent to Our Lady of Grace Hospital for treatment but died some hours later”
