Shatta Wale has been crowned as King of African Dancehall in Tamale.
The people of Tamale headed by Nyeb-Dakpema Fusieni Bawa put together a ceremony yesterday, 7th June, to crown the now repented Ghanaian Dancehall artiste “Dancehall King of Africa”
Talking to the media after the ceremony, he expressed his joy about his new position and continued to talk about his new peaceful life.
“Stonebwoy has been my brother from day one and I just want to urge everybody to support us…It is not a lie. Things happen in life and we all learn from it. We have decided to get the peace concert coming soon and it will come to Tamale as well,”
he stated
He disclosed his plans to build a recreational center for the youth in the Northern region, where musicians can be groomed.
