John Dumelo, a Ghanaian actor born to Antionette Dumelo and John Dumelo who had his Senior High School Education at Achimota School and proceeded to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
He was nominated for categories Most Promising Actor and Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the 6th and 7th Africa Movie Academy Awards respectively. On 1 April 2014, he became the first Ghanaian citizen to hit a million likes on Facebook.
John Dumelo is married to Gifty Mawunya Nkornu. The couple’s first child was born on 16 October 2018. He is named John Dumelo Jnr. after his father.
