Nana Akuffo Addo Pens Emotional Letter To The Black Stars On Winning Against Guinea

Ghana Black Stars game against Guinea Bissau resulted in a 2-0 win against Guinea.

A goal from Jordan Ayew and Thomas Partey made Ghana to qualify to the round 16 of this year’s afcon tournament.

Sitting President Nana Akufo-Addo has commemorated the Black Stars on their win today against Guinea Bissau and encourages them to work hard in their next match against Tunisia.

He wrote;

Congratulations to the Black Stars for their victory over Guinea Bissau and topping Group F. Best of luck in the Round of 16 match against Tunisia. Let’s end the AFCON trophy drought this year. 🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭

He posted this via twitter;

Ghana is topping Group F with a 5 points after they scored 2 against Guinea Bissau today.

Previous matches have been a dull game for the Black Stars. Ghana against Benin resulted in a 2-2 draw though Ghana played a 10 against 11 players on the pitch when John Boye was red carded.

Also, in their game against Cameroon, the results was a goalless draw.

We hope and pray for our national team to break the drought by winning this year’s afcon tournament.
