Coach for Ghana national team James Kwesi Appiah has finally reacted to his squad’s game against the Eagles of Tunisia.

Ghana’s lost against Tunisia in 2019 African Cup Of Nations has recorded Ghana’s earliest exit since 2008. This also marks the first time Tunisia has won against Ghana in history.

Unfortunately, Ghana couldn’t break the long time drought of winning the trophy for the fifth time after a long period.

Coach James Kwesi Appiah has finally spoken to the media after Ghana’s exit.

In his words, he feels gutted same as most of Ghanaians are feeling, he wished Ghana had won and qualify to win the trophy.

The coach in an interview with the media said;

“I feel sad. We had huge hope, we played well but penalties weren’t on our side. This is football and we have to accept what happens, I have to support my players to come back stronger”
