Ghanaian actor John Dumelo is switching his acting career to being a politician as he stands for member of parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon.
Many were of the thoughts that it was just a rumor which is circulating, but the actor has shown his eagerness in buying for a parliamentary position in the coming 2020 elections.
The actor who is lacing his boots to capture one of the seats in Ayawaso West which is located in the Accra Metropolitan Area of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana made announcement to the world and Ghanaians through his social media platforms to express his delight in contesting to be a member of parliament under the National Democratic Congress in the election on 2020.
On social media, he posted a banner and wrote;
It’s time for Ayawaso West Wuogon….it’s time to listen and serve the interest of the people. It’s time for change….I John Dumelo, humbly ask you to support me on this journey…..God bless Ghana. #takingaction #gettingresults #idey4u ??
