Nigerian icon Mr Eazi goes emotional as he declares his love for Beyonce after their collaboration on her album “The Lion King, The Gift”.
According to the musician, he was a greatest fan of the movie “The Lion King” while he was growing up but never dreamt to be part of its projects.
Beyoncé has released The Lion King: The Gift, a new compilation of music inspired by the 2019 remake of Disney classic The Lion King, produced by her and featuring artists curated by her.
The Lion King: The Gift features Beyoncé on ten new songs, including the already-released “Spirit,” and also features Burna Boy, Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, Childish Gambino, Tiwa Savage, Mr Eazi, Wizkid, Tierra Whack, Major Lazer, 070 Shake, and Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
Beyonce just might be the necessary ingredient to rocket Afrobeats into the mainstream US music scene and for entertainment award schemes to include Afro pop in their nominations.
Mr Eazi has shared his sincere gratitude to Beyonce on including him in her album.
On twitter he wrote;
Growing up i watched the @lionking but never imagined that someday i would be part of the project! Sending big Love to @beyonce for putting this project together! Its “The World To Africa” its The Gift to the World!!
