Google To Support 10 Emerging Nigerian Artists Through Mr Eazi

Lyor Cohen, global head of music at Youtube has announced to support 10 emerging artists through Mr Eazi’s Empawa for Africa initiatives.

According to Lyor Cohen, YouTube would help the 10 lucky emerging artists in raising more fanbase and connecting them to the other parts of the world.

Lyor Cohen revealed this at an event that had the hashtag “#GoogleforNigeria”. This was also a project where Google would be promoting the culture of Nigerians.

Mr Eazi spoke on his feature on Beyonce’s new album dubbed “The Lion King, The Gift” and more about his family and his initiation on supporting emerging artists in Nigeria through EmPawa Africa.

Google on twitter wrote;

We will support 10 emerging Nigerian artists to help build their craft, increase their fanbase and connect with the world through @YouTube. This effort will be driven through emPawa Africa, an initiative and incubator launched by @mreazi. #GoogleforNigeria
