Juliet Ibrahim who is of Ghanaian and Lebanese descent shared her experience of being a rape victim as she was featured on the latest episode of BBC Pidgin News.
According to the Ghanaian actress, when she was very young people use to carry her on their back, and then one thing led to another, and she was rape.
She indicated due to the her experience of being raped, she is very vigilant about her niece, and monitor her with her “super-man” eyes so that she doesn’t go through the same experience she had.
Juliet Ibrahim revealed after she was asked “Wetin dey pepper you for dis rape mata?” – in other words “What pains you about rape matters?“
“This thing be very serious, rape victims can come out anytime in life. It is something that is common, and has happened to a lots of people. It happened to me.“
“I am bold enough to talk about it, that be why now, I have super man eyes, looking over my niece.” she responded
