Former Black Stars striker Junior Agogo who gave Ghanaians so much joy during the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations passes away at the age of 40.
Information coming in indicates that Junior Agogo passed away in London this Thursday morning.
His demise was confirmed by his former Zamalek FC when they made a post on their social media handle.
The club posted a photo with the caption;
Our Former player Junior Agogo has died at the age of 40, RIP! ⚫️??
Agogo was hospitalized in 2015 after suffering stroke which debilitated him.
He was remembered for his eye-catching performances for the Black Stars during the 2008 Nations Cup on home soil when he scored a last minute goal for Ghana against Nigeria.
