Some citizens of South Africa have been attacking other foreign nationals in the country over the weekend, over claims that these African foreigners are getting better jobs in their country.
In an earlier post we made, we reported on how Some Nigerians in retaliation to this happening have attacked Shoprite and MTN offices in Nigeria as they are owned by South Africans. watch videos from this report here.
South African rapper, AKA adding his voice to the ongoing war against Nigerians especially, seemed to have annoyed a lot of Nigerians with his series of Twitter posts.
Imagine I said “stay in your country” …the uproar.
he tweeted.
Somehow this twitter post did not go down well with fans of the rapper and even celebrities as they descended on him with their own views and insults.
AKA followed up with even more post, seemingly to provoke the trouble he created with his first tweet. see screenshots below.
After his rant, Davido, Burna Boy, MI Abanga, and other Nigerian Musicians unfollowed and canceled the South African rapper for supporting this whole xenophobic saga as his twitter post suggest.
See how these people reacted to AKA on social media in the screenshots below.
