The presiding judge, His Worship Isaac Addo, has picked October 9, 2019, as the commencement date of the court trial between Charles Nii Armah aka Shatta Wale and Livingstone Satekla aka Stonebwoy

Dancehall artistes, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have had bad blood ever since Shatta Wale started picking on Stonebwoy and mocking his injured leg.

Out of frustration, anger, and an unsettled dispute, Stonebwoy brought out an Australian gun INFK 158 on stage at the VGMAs. Despite the fact that the show continued later, their actions caused fear and panic causing several people to run home.

Charterhouse banned both artistes, while the state-sanctioned them. Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were charged for issuing threats and using abusive words with the intention to disturb the peace of the area while Stonebwoy was charged again for exposing the gun. Both men were permitted bail in the sum of GH¢50,000.00 each with one surety.

Today, their lawyers, the court and prosecutors ended the Case Management Conference which is done to prepare the trial adequately. The presiding judge, His Worship Isaac Addo, picked October 9 as the day the trial starts.

On October 9, the first 5 witnesses will be summoned. After the October 9 sitting, the accused persons(Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy) will return to court on October 14.
