I wasn’t gonna write about this cuz we try not to do tragic stories, but headlines of Nana Ama’s death has been filling up my social media feed, I felt maybe it’s destiny asking me to post about this.
So yesterday news broke about a level 400 University of Ghana Student mysteriously dying on her way from the lecture hall to her hostel.
This is what we have learned from the incident so far:
– Nana Ama collapsed after lectures when she was on her way to pick a shuttle to her hostel.
– At her last lecture Nana Ama complained to her classmate about a burning sensation in her chest but she refused to seek medical treatment immediately but decided to visit the hospital right after the class.
– Unfortunately for her, she would collapse on her way to pick a shuttle back to her hostel.
– She was rushed to the Adabraka Facility hospital where she died a few minutes after she arrived at the hospital.
– Friends say she was a part-time model who was rising fast in the modeling industry.
