Eniola Adenuga, a mobile money vendor at Abeokuta, a town in the Ogun State of Nigeria, was arrested for having raped his co-worker, Faith Jude, to death.
According to reports, the suspect took advantage of the fact that it was raining heavily and threw himself on her.
In his own confession, he had stated that the lady was in her menstruation period when he raped her. After she had died, he kept the body in the store for about three days after which he relocated it to his store-front and went to the police to make a report stating that he had come to meet the corpse in front of the store on arrival.
After closely examining the body, the police found bruises which indicated signs of a struggle before death. The police, therefore, widened the scope of the investigation and later managed to apprehend Eniola who confessed everything he had done.
He is currently in police custody awaiting trial.
