Prolific rapper, Sarkodie was crowned the winner of the BET Best Hip-hop flow category at the just ended BET HipHop awards 2019.
Several topnotch artistes such as Falz the Bad Guy from Nigeria, Ghetts from the UK, Kalash from France, Little Simz from the UK, South African hip pop prodigy; Nasty C, and Tory Lanez of Canada were all nominees in the category, however, Sarkodie snatched the award for himself.
Reacting to his win, his mother, Emma Maame Aggrey sent him a WhatsApp message and it’s just so adorable.
”I was calling to tell you that you’re going to win. Congratulations my son. Super happy and proud of you.”

Sarkodie’s win is being celebrated home and abroad as he has become the first Ghanaian to win the best international flow category. He is also the only Ghanaian who has won two BET awards.
He continues to trend on Twitter as Ghanaians Keep tweeting his name to congratulate his phenomenal feat.
