Dancehall Naa and Shatta Movement Boss Shatta Wale has acknowledged that Samini although being a legend in the music industry, he’s poor.

Speaking to Paul Adom Otchere on Good Evening Ghana, the “Ayoo” hit maker indicated that during his hay days, Samini was used by some people for their selfish gains─and sadly for him, he never realized he was been used.

He continued that Samini’s focus was all about putting Ghana on the map at the detriment of his finances.

He said this on the back of some Ghanaian artistes’ obsession with the popular deceptive phrase “Putting Ghana on the map” without thinking about making money.

According to Shatta Wale, his focus is to make money and live a better life after he has retired from music.

He is never bothered about awards or travelling to beg international artistes for collaborations.
