After a successful album launch of the anticipated “Wonder Boy” album by the Dancehall King and his management, some media critics and patrons are of the view that the whole event was a total flop.

To brief you on what went on on the night, Kwaw Kese got beaten with bottles by SM fans, watch that video here. Fantana gave the worse performance of the night, see her performance here, Fella Makafui and Medikal, as usual, stole the show with their lovidovi… watch the couple’s performance on the night here.

Shatta Wale was last to perform for the night, and besides not performing with a live band for long, apparently, the numbers at the Fantasy Dome was not as impressive as hyped.

Unsatisfied Ghanaian blogger and journalist [Gerrard Israel] who was a patron of the show has taken to his Facebook page to express his disappointment…

Masa, no one should come and tell any lies on facebook and on traditional media tomorrow, because the event nu, we all we go some.

Artistically, Musicianship and Technically, Shatta Wale’s shows over the years has been overrated ¡TWEAKAAAAIII! After performing just three songs with the band, he lost his voice, he began mimming till we left the venue this morning, 6.30am and trust me, the attendance was very poor, at a point in time the organizers had to beg those who bought the regular ticket to fill VIP stand.

You bombarded live band, you disrespected big arts because of liveband and now you performing liveband at your own concert. You see how your own fans looked at you with that awful performance you displayed? Kindly go back to your CD performance as usual to save your show. You still have a lot learn. Tweakaaai. You can ask Samini, Stonebwoy, Wiyaala, Kelvyn Boy, Akwaboah to take you through some lessons.

Performance is not all about dropping hit songs o, Nii. If its about dropping hit songs, then I can confidently say you have achieved it and you are successful.

He worte.
