JUST IN: Kurt Okraku Beats George Afriyie And Wins GFA Elections; Currently The President Of Ghana Football Association

Finally, the long-awaited GFA presidential election has come to an end in peace. The election which took place early this morning in Accra. The competition was tough for all the candidates since some did not even get a single vote in the 1st round.

In the 1st round, Mr. Kurt Okraku won by 44 votes but wasn’t enough for taking the presidential role, so second round took place which Kurt won again

Delegates had to even do amendment before the voting should take place, George Owusu who has been seen bragging to be the person to win received the schock of his life when the second round took place.

Mr. George Afriyie, however, announced his decision to pull out of the race and congratulated Mr. Kurt Okraku.

However, the third round of voting was held with Mr. Kurt Okraku as the sole candidate which saw him secure 93 votes to emerge as the winner of the elections.

Finally, Mr.Kurt Okraku was sworn in as the president of GHANA FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION(G.F.A.)
