Nigerian superstar Wizkid has finally sent a message to congratulate Burn Boy aka African giant after he was crowned as Best African Act at the 2019 EMA Awards.
Burna Boy beat the likes of Teni the Entertainer, South Africa’s Prince Kaybee and Nasty C, Harmonize from Tanzania and Togo’s duo TooFan, to take home the prestigious award at a star-studded event held in Seville, Spain on Sunday, November 3rd, 2019.
With Burna Boy winning the award, Nigerian musicians have now clinched it the fourth time in a row. Wizkid won it in 2016, Davido 2017, Tiwa Savage in 2018.
Unfortunately, Burna Boy was not present to take his award as he was holding a concert in London.
However, his fellow compatriot Wizkid posted a picture of Burna Boy on his Instagram Stories as he congratulated him.
