The first season of Shuga was aired in 2009 as part of an initiative dubbed “MTV Staying Alive Ignite!”, fast forward Season 4 is here already.
“For you to enjoy and understand why anything happened in Season 4, you will need to watch previous again. Many people often say the stories aren’t connected but if you watch the previous seasons, then you will enjoy and understand every scene in season 4,” Egbuson told Pulse.
Tobi Bakre, who joins the series as the character, Segun, said the experience on the set of MTV Shuga Naija was mind-blowing. “I can tell you being on that set was something on another level. I have been on some movie sets but kicked off my acting career on the set of ‘Hustle’. And when I got on the set of MTV Shuga Naija, the professionalism was on another level. I mean everything went on with little or no hitch and the storyline is something that blew my mind,” Bakre said.
