The internet was flooded hours ago with news about the president of Ghana Nana Akufo Addo being rushed to the hospital. see how it was reported here.
This came after a video of the presidential convoy was seen entering Nyaho medical center.
It was apparently that H.E Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo could be the one who was rushed to Medical Center, a medical facility in Accra over conditions to yet to be disclosed.
Responding news that’s gone viral, GH ONE presenter Serwa Amihere has cleared the air as to what the attached video is really about.
According to Serwaa, Eugene Arhin who is the communications director to the presidency has said that the video was taken on Wednesday 6th and that Nana Addo only visited the hospital with his entourage to see Mr. Tommy Amematekpor, a stalwart of the NPP, who is on admission at the Clinic.
Not true, according to his communications director.?? *Eugene Arhin writes* : The video making rounds on some social media platforms, and, unsurprisingly, some of our friends from the opposition, are claiming, with glee, that the President was rushed to the Nyaho Clinic. For the avoidance of doubt, no such thing happened.
Serwaa wrote.
The President on Wednesday, 6th November, after commissioning the Ga-East District Hospital, in Kwabenya, en route to Jubilee House, went to the Nyaho Clinic to visit Mr Tommy Amematekpor, a stalwart of the NPP, who is on admission at the Clinic.
The President, at the moment, is in Niamey, Niger, attending the ECOWAS Extraordinary Session on Guinea Bissau.
