The week started with quite shocks from various European clubs as some coaches manage to get their job in place whilst others get sacked.
It all started when Danny Levy, the owner of the Tottenham club in England had few meetings with its management and followed was the sacking of the club manager, Mauricio Pochetinho. Soon after the news of the sacking of the coach who has been in charge of the team for 5 years starting from 2014-2019, it was released by the club’s official website of appointing the great Portuguese manager, Jose Mourinho as the replacement of the under the fired coach.
Currently, Mourinho is the head coach of the Tottenham Hotspur club and has a contract with the club till 2023.
The move from Barcelona to appoint Pochetinho as a head coach does not come as a surprise due to the poor performance from FC Barcelona although they are leading the la Liga table.
This appointment was done a few hours after the club’s football director (ERIC ABIDAL) had private calls and a deal was met.
Pochetinho is yet to appear at the FC Barcelona office for signing. He will sign a 5-year deal contract with the club. Currently, document are under process and he will be officially announced the new head coach of the team.
