Ghanaian dancehall musician, Emmanuel Andrews Sammini, known by his stage name Samini, has urged Ghanaian to patronize locally grown rice.
In a video making wave on social media, the dance hall legend was seen on a rice farm educating the public about the need to consume local rice.
“On this note, rice from Ghana is what all Ghanaians must eat, both at home and abroad. This is rice from Ghana and if we start patronizing rice from Ghana, in the next 20 years or even less, you will be surprised what the Ghanaian economy is going to be like,” he said.
He also disclosed that he will be launching his brand of local rice very soon.
“Watch out for my own brand of rice,” He disclosed.
