5 years ago, the Food and Drugs Authority placed a ban on Ghanaian celebrities or influential persons in the country from advertising alcoholic beverages.
Well, Ghanaian songstress Wendy Shay who is probably now aware of such ban shares with her fans how she just lost thousands of dollars just because of the ban.
According to Wendy Shay, Food and Drugs Authority should lift the ban because it’s affecting their stream of income, and called Ghanaian celebrities to wake up.
She posted a photo with the caption;
I just lost a deal worth 1000s‘ of dollars with this foreign alcohol company..I didn’t know in GH Celebrities can’t advertise for alcoholic beverages according to FDA
