BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bsc civil engineering
JOB PURPOSE
To carry out civil engineering activities that will lead to the planning, development, maintenance and administration of trunk road systems in the country
2. ASSISTANT ENGINEER (Mcch)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bsc Mechanical Engineering
JOB PURPOSE
To assist in equipment rehabilitation, maintenance and management and updates of all records on plant/equipment owned by the authority
3. ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYORS
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bsc in building technology/ construction management
JOB PURPOSE
To undertake quality surveying activities to aid pre and post contract administration and management
4. ACCOUNTANTS
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
ICA (GH) part II or it’s equivalent Bsc Admin (accounting option)
JOB PURPOSE
To supervise voucher activity, performance control at head office and regions accounting activities in the ledger up to trial balance and budget section. Performs treasury functions. Prepares bank reconciliation
5. INTERNAL AUDITORS
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
ICA (GH) part II or it’s equivalent Bsc Admin (accounting option)
JOB PURPOSE
To direct, control and check audit activities
6. ASSISTANT PROGRAMMER
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bsc computer science
JOB PURPOSE
To write software programmes for both corporate and departmental needs
7. SENIOR LEGAL OFFICER
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bachelor of law (LLB) and Barrister at Law (BL)
JOB PURPOSE
To provide general legal advice to all matters affecting the authority, conduct legal actions on matters affecting the authority and represent the authority in court
8. ASSISTANT LEGAL OFFICER
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bachelor of law (LLB) and Barrister at Law (BL)
JOB PURPOSE
To provide legal services for the authority
9. INVESTIGATION OFFICER
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Higher National Diploma (HND) in criminal psychology or it’s equivalent
JOB PURPOSE
To supervise and coordinate the security activities at head office
10. AUDIT OFFICERS
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Higher National Diploma (accounting option)
JOB PURPOSE
To direct, control and check audit activities
11. SUPPLY OFFICERS
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bsc Purchasing and Supply
JOB PURPOSE
To coordinate and supervise the receiving, storage, issuing and regional store control activities of the central store
12. TECHNICIAN ENGINEERS
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Higher National Diploma (HND) (Civil engineering or equivalent)
JOB PURPOSE
To provide overall supervision and undertake civil engineering activities in the engineering division
13. PERSONNEL OFFICERS
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Higher National Diploma (HND) in Management studies
JOB PURPOSE
To perform simple electrical duties in the personnel division
14. STENOGRAPHERS
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
HND Secretaryship and Management
JOB PURPOSE
To provide secretarial services to director of divisions
15. DRIVERS
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
SSSCE/WASSCE or it’s equivalent. Driving license category “C” or higher
JOB PURPOSE
To drive pick-ups, buses, articulators and other trucks to transport goods, personnel and equipments
16. CHIEF PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Msc Communication Studies or it’s equivalent
JOB PURPOSE
To plan and implement policies and programmes designed to maintain positive relations with the authority’s various public’s.
