A descendant of Ghanaian yet American-born artist, Vic Mensa was taken into police custody
He was arrested on Monday, in California, and charged with felony possession of brass knuckles.
Mensa was pulled over earlier this month for making a “unsafe right” on his motorcycle in Glendale, California, according to a TMZ story.
During the search, he was frisked which resulted in finding the brass knuckles in his pockets.
The report by TMZ states that brass knuckles are prohibited in California, although they are a legal means of national self-defence.
He got released without a traffic ticket on $20,000 bail.
