Ibrah One hits hard at Pastor Mensa Otabil.

Preaching last Sunday at the ICGC Christ Temple in Accra on the theme ‘Hunger for Excellence,’ Pastor Mensa Otabil observed that insignificant items like food and clothing need not be widely publicized as if they were achievements on social media.

Instead of looking at some basic things as an achievement, he reprimanded his congregation to strive for excelence.

He also touched on those who are joining the aircraft and trying to show off that they are traveling the world too.

“the funny ones are those who sit in an airplane and [take] selfie [of] themselves and put it on Facebook. “You sit in an airplane? Do you know when airplanes were invented? Huh?- in 1903”,

he said.

Ending his statement, Pastor Otabil said:

You have now sat in one- you’re not even sitting in first class, you’re sitting in economy. [Taking] selfie- hey look at me; your head needs help. No wonder we are easily satisfied, no wonder we do very little and we settle.

Ibrah One after sighting on the trending story of Pastor Mensah Otabil on his controversial comment took to his Instagram page to react.

On Ibrah One’s Instagram stories, he wrote:

People who post photos of their food and dresses on social media are better than some so-called holy men who steal the monies of innocent poor people.
