Ghanaian media personality and radio show host, Blakk Rasta in a recent interview has given reasons why dancehall king Shatta Wale won’t get the chance to ever perform at the Grammys.
According to Blakk Rasta, Shatta Wale will get the chance to perform at the Grammys only if he stops the way he mimes all the time during a stage performance and starts performing with a live band
Speaking in an interview with 4Syte TV, Blakk Rasta said; “Live band is an International thing. Big Artiste like Shatta Wale and still miming is a no-no. I was the one who taught Shatta Wale how to perform with a live band. He’s growing, this miming won’t help him in the long run”.
“Shatta Wale wants to get to the Grammy stage, but you can’t mime at Grammy Award, I don’t hate Shatta Wale at all, I’m just telling him the truth to start performing with a live band, that’s all. No superstar mimes, they perform with a live band,” He added:
