Ghanaian actor and comedian Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, better known as Funny Face has allegedly landed into trouble after duping a Ghanaian lady based in the U.S.A.
A US-based lady known as Mary Ama Boansi has sued the actor with the claim that he owes her about $53,105.53.
According to the writ sighted Madam Boansi and Funny Face became friends after they met in June 2016.
Funny Face, per the writ, borrowed $53,000 from her, promising he would pay back but he has not yet done that.
The Plaintiff is asking the court to among other things direct Funny Face to pay her $53,105.53 or its Ghana cedi equivalent (plus interest at bank rate) being the total sum of money she allegedly gave the comedian.
She also wants the court to order Funny Face to pay interest on the said amount.
