Patrick Allotey renders an apology to Ghanaians over his barbaric act.

A video which captured Ghanaian professional boxer, Patrick Allotey, punching the face of a Kotoko fan was fast trending on social media platforms.

In the video which was taken by an unknown person on Sunday (January 26) during the super clash between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Hearts Of Oak showed Patrick Allotey angrily punching the face of a Kotoko fan.

In the video, the Kotoko fan went to the stands of Heats Of Oak and was seen chanting and teasing them because they were down by a goal.

The actions of the Kotoko fan gingered Patrick Allotey which made him to confront him to leave their stands. After the man (victim) refused, Patrick became furious and fought him in front of the crowd.

Patrick Allotey has sent his apologetic message via Zylofone Sports to the public on his barbaric action.

According to Patrick Allotey, he was provoked by the Kotoko fan. He revealed that he has regretted his actions as a professional boxer.

From the report sighted on the Instagram page of Zylofone 1021 FM, Patrick Allotey revealed he will be issuing a press conference shortly to address the issue.

The game between Asante Kotoko and Hearts Of Oak took place at Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, January 26.

The super clash culminated with a 2-1 goal making Kotoko the winner at that day.
