A few minutes ago, we published a story concerning Ghanaian fashion designer Elikem Kumordzie who had suggested that Ghanaian actors and actresses should find a day job after Kofi Adjorlolo complained of producers not paying actors.

Well, his statements have triggered actor James Gardiner and actress Juliet Ibrahim to react to Elikem Kumordzie’s statement.

According to James Gardiner, Elikem Kumordzie should stop creating the impression that acting is a part-time job because it is not.

Citing an example from Hollywood, James Gardiner indicated that artists are underpaid and taken advantage of even in a big movie industry like Hollywood.

He added that acting just like any other job can be very lucrative if the foundation is very firm.

Also, actress Juliet Ibrahim questioned Elikem Kumordzie “What if you were asked to stop tailoring and find another job..?”

She added that acting is a full-time job and not a part-time one because it pays bills over the world.
