EIB’s lead channel, Gh One TV, went off the air this morning after the camera crew boycotted the breakfast show.
According to information gathered by thedist.com, the camera executives refused to work to produce the station’s breakfast show, GH TODAY, hosted by Serwaa Amihere and Lantam Papanko because of unpaid salaries.
According to the workers, they have not been paid 6 months of salaries.
A few months ago, Bola Ray, C.E.O of EIB, has disclosed that the media house has been struggling financially, forcing some of the workers to ditch the company. Sadly, it looks like EIB is still struggling to regain its feet.
We wish them all the best because we can’t afford to miss seeing some EIB stars including Serwaa and Nana Aba who just came back from a one week “executive education” program from Harvard University.
