Mum Dolores Aveiro, Cristiano Ronaldo, suffered a stroke on Tuesday morning and had to be rushed to the hospital in Portugal’s home island of Madeira.
She was undergoing an ischemic stroke, caused by a blood clot that blocks or plugs a blood vessel in the brain, according to media reports in Portugal.
Dolores Aveiro, who’s a mother of four including celebrity footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, was admitted to Dr. Nelio Mendonca Hospital at 5 am Tuesday morning and will undergo new testing in the next few hours to assess her health status.
She’s ‘aware and happy’ according to Portuguese reports and her son Ronaldo plans to travel and be with her.
It should be recalled that at the beginning of 2019 Dolores announced that after being diagnosed with the disease in 2007 she was fighting for her life’ after suffering from a cancer bout.
In February last year ahead of her son’s 35th birthday she admitted;
‘I was operated on another breast in Madrid, I’ve had radiotherapy and now I’m fighting for my life.’
