Charlotte Osei Says Its time Ghana Elects A Female President |This Is Why She said It

The former Chairperson of the Electoral Commission strongly suggest that its high time Ghanaians start thinking of electing a female president.

During an interview on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show with the famous newscaster, Nana Aba Anamoah.

She stressed on the importance of Ghana having a female president, here is what she said and I quote ” time is up for Ghana to have a shift from male presidents to a female president. “

After she said that, here is what Nana Aba Anamoah also added to what she said: “We have been ready for a long time [for a female president] and it’s not just Ghana.” Both women also bemoaned the fact that the two biggest political parties in Ghana have never fielded a female candidate or running mate”

.Additionally, she made reference to rumors about our President, Nana Addo Dankuah in 2008 considering Alima Mahama as running mate but party functionaries regretted the idea.
