Information reaching us is that, the 19year old lady Shante Stephenson took her own life because she feels inadequate in terms of everything she does.
Dr. William Travers is the name of the doctor Stephenson met with for consultation before she called on death to lay its icy hands on her own life.
This is what the doctor said could be the cause of her death “It seemed to have been triggered by an experience she had performing a role in a theatre showcase, she didn’t think she performed it well, and she was dwelling on it, replaying it over and over in her mind.”
Additionally, according to the doctor, the victim seems to have been struggling with weight problem and also she didn’t feel fix in almost everywhere she goes.
Meanwhile, this is the kind of society we live in now, almost everybody pays more attention to the looks and stature of people before giving them a job or a position.
During the consultation before she died, this is what she told the doctor “She told me that since the age of 11 she was focused on not being good enough, with regard to her career ambitions and her physical appearance in particular. “She was continuously comparing herself to her peers and frequently looking at multiple social media sites.”
