As reported earlier by thedistin.com, the ministry of health has confirmed to cases of the deadly coronavirus.
In a press statement released by the Ministry of Health of Ghana, the first cases of the Covid-19 pandemic have been reported through laboratory tests on suspects done by the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research.
The patients are said to have arrived in the country from Norway and Turkey.
Well, some Ghanaians have taken to social media to call for the closure of all borders.
Even though the Director of Public Health at the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Badu Sarkodie has assured Ghanaians of drastic measures being taken to contain the virus, some Ghanaians are not satisfied and are calling for more stringent measures, especially the closure of all borders.
