A new suspected COVID-19 case has been recorded in Ghana at the Weija Gbawe Municipal Hospital in Accra.
The report is not fully confirmed as positive but from reports obtained, the lady had a fever, a temperature of around 40 degrees Celsius, chest pains, difficulty in breathing and sore throat.
From what we gathered, the 38-year-old lady returned to Ghana from the United Kingdom on March 6 and was taken ill after 10 days.
Currently, she has been quarantined awaiting referral and confirmation from the Noguchi Memorial Research Center
