Bishop Angel Obinim details his viral photos of him in gloves and mask.

Bishop Daniel Obinim, founder and leader of International God’s Way Church (IGWC), has responded to suggestions on social media that he is afraid of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Recently Obinim was spotted wearing gloves and masks in a picture that caused a massive stir on the internet after the Coronavirus scare.

The photo taken from his church’s counseling session was posted virally on social media.

After the photographs, some people wondered how Obinim who claims to be an’ angel’ could fear physical illness.

However, Obinim has come up with an explanation that he doesn’t wear the mask and gloves because he fears Coronavirus.

According to him, he just put on the mask in accordance with the personal hygiene instructions of President Nana Akufo-Addo and other health staff.

In a new online video, Obinim pointed out that as a leader, he must be an example for others to learn from by complying with laws and obeying certain orders from authorities.

And that is what he was doing in the viral photos. He further claimed that COVID-19 could be solved from the spiritual realm, yet the physical precautions measures by doctors, health personnel and authorities should be respected.

“Coronavirus will not affect my people, no son of Jesus Christ would be affected by it,” he declared.
