A few days ago, a video was circulating on social media where Kevin Taylor, a journalist, indicated that Akufo Addo had tested positive for the coronavirus.
According to Kevin Taylor, his secret sources at the Jubilee House leaked the information to him, where they said the President and Senior Minister Osafo Marfo had be infected with the coronavirus.
However, Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah yesterday in a press briefing answered questions concerning their preparedness to curb the virus and an update on whether new cases have been added.
He indicated that news circulating on social media that said President Akufo Addo and Senior Minister had been was fake.
He further said that the public should desist from sharing such fake news and visit the Ghana Health Service approved website for information.
However, Ghana as this morning has recorded two more cases taking the number of cases in the country to nine.
